NY: Murder Mystery Spooktacular
Doing Mabel (Selena Gomez) from "Only Murders In the Building" so if there's anyone that wants to replicate Steve Martin or Martin Short's characters with me, would definitely be up for a photo opp.

I’m thinking about going as Elphaba, Paddington, or Hermione Granger… any thoughts?
Hermione or Paddington are likely the easiest to wear through a concert.
I’ll be one of the army of Deweys at the show. My tie and patch arrived, my blazer isn’t the best, but in honor of Jack, it’s a size too small.

I am planning on doing something from either Hairspray or School of Rock at the moment!

I’m wearing a STEVIE KNICKS shirt inspired by the one Taylor Swift wore to MSG this postseason. Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac were most popular in the 60s and 70s, and before this last championship, the Knicks last championships were in the 70s.
It’s a bit of a stretch, but I think it’s clever.

I pulled out my old Elvis outfit I haven’t worn in 20 years. It’s looked better… why’d the King have to wear so much WHITE? So I think I’m going with the fringed vest, faded Yellow Submarine t-shirt and beads. Voila! Instant costume.

The great thing about SD characters is that it would technically work for all 3 themes!
I’m going as Orpheus from Hadestown, so if anyone would like to be Eurydice or maybe Hades (?), that would be super fun!
Okay this is going to be meta, but I'm thinking about dressing as an In-N-Out employee who has been murdered. The idea is California Dreamin – the theme that got killed. Anyone else want to be dead things related to California?

Yes. I’m definitely going as Shaggy. It’s a lime green v neck and some reddish-brown bellbottoms. Costumes don’t get much easier.
Ok so I'm thinking a Clue character (maybe professor plum) but it may be tough to.. uh.. bring a murder weapon in the venue. maybe rope? maybe they'd let me do rope? candlestick probably pushing it. or a FAKE knife like the fake stabby kind that retracts? thoughts?
The fake knife would be cool. Maybe have a backup in case. lol I'm going to the LA Staycation Murder Mystery as the Detective Ghost from the graphics I created for this site. LOL

I was thinking of going as Jack Black's character in School of Rock. Although I have the "build" for it (lol) I don't have the hair for it. So maybe… I'll go as Milton from Office Space. And Yes… I have a red stapler! 😉

I'm a Dewey and I will be there! Not THAT Dewey though 😆
I think the biggest issue will be what can I bring and still fit a week’s worth of clothes in one carry-on and a satchel. I forgot how much room blazers take up in a suitcase.

I'm thinking it would be fun to get a bunch of people to do 70's Pimps & Ho's costumes. 🙂 Family Business friendly, of course. There will definitely be some kids at these shows. Anyone else want to join the Pimps and Ho's party? LOL I'm Super VIP + VIP, and would be cool to get a bunch of Super VIP's to group up for this. 🙂
